Dear Benny Hinn:
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
My name is John R. Griffin, Jr. and I am a born again
Christian. I wish I could say that I made this decision on my
own to be a born again Christian, however that would simply
not be the truth.
Without giving you all the gory details, or the trials in my life, I
will attempt to give you a snap shot of who I am, where I am
today and where God told me to go.
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
My name is John R. Griffin, Jr. and I am a born again
Christian. I wish I could say that I made this decision on my
own to be a born again Christian, however that would simply
not be the truth.
Without giving you all the gory details, or the trials in my life, I
will attempt to give you a snap shot of who I am, where I am
today and where God told me to go.
I must preface my story by saying I was at Joe Louis Arena June 16th and 17th of 2005
when you came to Detroit. While I was seeking God in the midst of my trials, those dates
marked my true spiritual awareness of God for the first time in my life.
I am a former corporate employee that had a great job, a great salary, great benefits and
what I thought was a great life.
In my pursuit of life’s pleasures, I unintentionally but most assuredly left God on the back
burner.
As I fast forward the details of my life, I met with what I thought was true tragedy. Those
tragedies are marked by a terrible one-car accident I was in, that left my car totally
demolished and left me with tremendous injuries. I should not have survived but God spared
me. Next I lost my good corporate job, and God saved me again. I was blessed with another
corporate job, but lost it also. God still sustained me. I did however lose my home, after that I
suffered a heart attack and subsequent stroke. While today, after 2 years, I am a recovering
stroke victim.

that I began in earnest to truly seek God.

cried out to God and asked him to have mercy on
me. I also asked God how was I going to earn a
living. At this point, God started working on me.
While I continue to pray each day, it wasn’t until after
I went to see you at Joe Louis Arena that God
began revealing himself to me.

My question to God was “God how will I earn a living?” His answer to me was he wanted me
to start a business for him. Just likes Moses, my response was “God I barely can speak, I
can’t write, and I no longer can use the computer as I use to do so easily. God’s response
was, I didn’t ask you to figure out how to do it, I asked that you accept my request. I said yes
Lord and this is what God revealed to me.
With so many people attempting to push God off the face of the earth with all the legal
challenges and political restraints of acknowledging God; God wants me to approach the
private sector of the tens of thousands businesses out there that are run by Christians, who
cannot or will not have any symbol in their business that represents God and Christ. They
are afraid of losing government contracts as well as private contracts.
My mission is to develop a symbol, not to in anyway replace the cross, as the cross is the
greatest symbol in the world. But a symbol that can be recognized, without controversy, that
can be displayed anywhere, without legal challenge.
I have developed such a symbol, that should you decide to accept my request, could be
broadcast on TBN, with the blessing of Paul and Jan Crouch, throughout the entire world.
I need a strategic investor, someone or a group of people who already have infrastructure in
place to send said symbol out to the entire world instantly.
For a nominal fee, this symbol could be hung in thousands and thousands of private
businesses and I would have answered God’s call for me to do this, and he would have truly
answered my prayer for a way to earn a living.
